INTRODUCTION
RC-2000 is a zincate that needs to be combined with other micro cyanide.
A denser and uniform zinc film can be produced on the surface of aluminum alloy, which provides a good adhesion for the subsequent process of direct copper plating, nickel plating, tin plating and electroless nickel.
Suitable for aluminum wheel electroplating.
SOLUTION MAINTENANCE
Low-load applications can be replenished directly with RC-2000, and adding 5.5 ml/l RC-2000 per 1.0 g/l NaOH (1L solution contained 1g sodium hydroxide) increase. Normally, 2.46㎡workpiece can be treated with 1L solution.
RC-2000C and RC-2000B can be used to replenish metal components and adjust alkalinity, respectively, in high-load applications (such as aluminum alloy wheel hub electroplating).
According to the specific gravity of the solution: 4.5% (volume ratio) or 2.5% (volume ratio) 2000B replenishers and 2.5 % (volume ratio) 2000C replenishers can be added to increase the specific gravity of 0.01 units.
Adding 2000C by titration, 3.5 ml/l 2000C per 0.1 increment.
Adding 2000B according to the concentration of sodium hydroxide, 2 ml/l 2000B can be added every 1.0 g/l increase of sodium hydroxide content.

The specific gravity of the RC-2000 solution should be determined at 20℃, please refer to the following chart to convert readings in degrees baume to specific gravity.

MATTERS NEEDING ATTENTION
2000B is a strong alkaline solution, which needs to be added a small amount but multiple times during stirring to avoid overheating.
The RC-2000 solution contains cyanide, avoid contact with acids then causing danger.
During production, replenishers should be added slowly while to make the solution mix evenly and prevent surface roughness when plating.
Working temperature should be less than 30℃ in order to prevent the roughness of the zinc crystallization, reducing the adhesion between substrate and plating deposits
