INTRODUCTION
It is particularly used for passivation treatment for magnesium and its alloy workpieces. It is a new generation of magnesium alloy surface treatment product and an industry-leading level. The treated workpiece has excellent corrosion resistance, good electrical conductivity and coating adhesion, which can totally replace the chromate process. The solution does not contain harmful elements such as chromium, manganese, zirconium and fluorine, which is completely in conformity with the EU ROHS and national environmental protection regulations. There is no exhaust emission, simple wastewater disposal, and only a small amount of flocculation deposit reagent can be discharged after neutralization, which perfectly solves the problem of human harm and water pollution. Simple process, easy to operate and maintain, low energy consumption, good stability, and high product qualification rate that is very suitable for industrial assembly line production and has been widely used in production. The products meet the requirements of Samsung, ZTE, Huawei, Foxconn and other multinational enterprises.
The coating is light gray or dark gray, dense and uniform, strong corrosion resistance, resist neutral salt spray resistance for more than 24 hours, or even up to 96 hours, also neutral salt spray resistance about 500-1000 hours after painting.
Using at normal temperature, saving energy, suitable for spray and immersion, operating parameters are easy to control.
Excellent adhesion with metal coating.
EQUIPMENT
Tank: PP, PVC or high density PE.
Rack: PP, PVC or 316 stainless steel. Keep the workpieces vertical in the bath, and the distance between two adjacent pieces is 10 mm.
Agitation: properly and homogeneously air agitation in both main and auxiliary baths.
Circulation: 3-4 times every hour.
Addition system: PP, PVC or PE for charge pump, strong alkali resistance.
Filtration: continuous, filtered with 10 micron of filter cotton or filter bag.
Ventilation: required.
Heat system: required.
SOLUTION MAINTAINANCE
Ensure that the pH value of the bath is between 2.0 and 2.5. When the pH decreased from 2.5 to 2.0, 50-60 g/l of RC-286A and 1% of RC-286B should be replenished, and then resulting the coating had strong corrosion resistance, better conductivity and adhesion.
PROCEDURE GUIDELINES
Degreasing → Rinse with water → Activation → Rinse with ultrasonic → Surface adjustment → Rinse with water → Chemical treatment → Rinse with water → Rinse with pure water → Drying aging

COLOR & PACKAGING
RC-286A for magnesium alloy is an acid-free liquid with plastic barrel packaging. The packaging specification is 25 kg/pcs.
RC-286B for magnesium alloy is white or light yellow powder with or without ammonia, with plastic bag packaging. The packaging specification is 25 kg/pcs.
