INTRODUCTION
Stable system, up to 8-10 MTOs (Metal Turn Over), [MTO means that all nickel is plated out of each litre of plating solution, and then replenish the nickel content to the make-up level, a MTO can be deposited at least 900 dm2 ? μm].
High rate of deposition, up to 20-22μm/h.
Strong covering power and throwing power.

Low porosity coating, non-porosity coating even above 15μm.

COATING PROPERTIES
Phosphorous content: 6-9% (wt).
Electrical resistance:60-75μΩ·cm.
Density: 7.6-7.9 g/cm3.
Melting range: 860-880℃.
Hardness: 500-550 HV (45-48RCH); 1000HV after heat treatment.
Adhesion: 400MPa, higher than electroplating.
Internal stress: less than 7MPa for steel.
EQUIPMENT
Tank: PP, PVC or high density PE.
Rack: PP, PVC or 316 stainless steel. Keep the workpieces vertical in the bath, and the distance between two adjacent pieces is 10 mm.
Agitation: properly and homogeneously air agitation in both main and auxiliary baths.
Circulation: 3-4 times every hour.
Addition system: PP, PVC or PE for charge pump, strong alkali resistance.
Filtration: continuous, filtered with 10 micron of filter cotton or filter bag.
Ventilation: required.
Heat system: required.
ANALYSIS AND REPLENISHMENT
The standard concentration of Ni2+ of the working bath is 6.0 g/l.
1．Pipette 5 ml of working bath into a 250 ml Erlenmeyer flask.
2．Add 50 ml of DI water and 10 ml (28%) of ammonium hydroxide.
3．Add 0.2 g of ammonium violet indicator.
4．Titration with 0.05M EDTA standard solution to light purple from light brown end point. Calculation based on EDTA dosage.
