INTRODUCTION
It is a cyanide-free stripping agent that removes silver from copper and its alloy without damaging the substrate.
Operate at normal temperature, no heating is required, and air agitation is strongly recommended.

Less corrosion resistance to copper and nickel substrates, it is especially suitable for the stripping of unqualified silver coatings such as lead frame and aluminum cavity. And it can be re-plated after stripping and pre-treatment.

ANALYSIS
1．Pipette 5 ml sample to a 200 ml Erlenmeyer flask.
2．Add a 5 ml (20%) KOH solution.
3．Add 50 ml pure water then stir.
4．Titration with 0.1N AgNO3 solution until light brown suspension liquid appeared.

MATTERS NEEDING ATTENTION
Before stripping process, it is necessary to ensure that there is no grease and dirt on the surface of the workpiece. Silver stripping can be carried out after the grease is removed by the cathode electrolytic.
Wear protective gloves during the operation, and do not contact the skin directly.
The workpiece should be washed immediately after stripping, and the hang time should not be too long to prevent the replacement reaction of the workpiece.
RECYCLING OF WASTED SILVER SOLUTION
Electrolysis: the wasted silver solution needs to stir for several hours, elemental silver can be obtained by electrolysis of silver ions in waste solution at the cathode. The anode is graphite or stainless steel, the cathode is stainless steel, the cell voltage is 2-3 V, and increases to 3-5 V with the reduction of silver ions in the bath. Then the silver on the stainless steel is dissolved by dilute nitric acid, add dilute hydrochloric acid to make it turn into silver chloride.
