RC-P3 Electroless Degreasing Powder for Zn-Al Alloy

INTRODUCTION

• It is powdered, which contains a special surfactant and penetrant. It has good stability, moderate foaming and can be operated at various temperatures.

• It can be used to quickly remove grease, polishing residue, residual wax and other contaminants and save costs.

• Especially suitable for copper, zinc and aluminum alloy.

SOLUTION MAINTENANCE

Usually, it is only necessary to maintain a fixed temperature and concentration every day.

If the solution is muddy and cannot be clarified by standing, then it needs to be discarded and renewed.

MATTERS NEEDING ATTENTION

• The performance of degreasing and penetrating wax can be increased by raising the temperature. RC-P3 has excellent temperature resistance and can be operated over a wide temperature range. The operating temperature should not exceed 75 for ultrasonic degreasing; take care of the water evaporation and replenish at any time during high temperature operation.

• The workpiece can be fixed in the rack or placed in the basket immersed in a hot bath, the treatment time depends on the fouling, which is 1-10 minutes. If the cleaning result cannot be achieved within the required time, the operating conditions or degreaser must be changed.

• Air agitation should not be used to avoid large foam and reduce liquid temperature.

• Workpiece rinse with water after degreasing process and then remove the alkaline film by acid leaching. The result of degreasing can only be tested by the wettability of the water.

• Acid leaching and water rinsing must not contain surfactants.

EQUIPMENT

Tank: iron or stainless steel.

WASTEWATER DISPOSAL

If the bath is leaked or discharged, it should be imported directly into the acid-base wastewater treatment system after collection, then discharged after precipitation.

For neutralization, 0.6 kg of sulphuric acid is required per kg of RC-15 if industrial grade sulphuric acid is used.
