INTRODUCTION
Stable system, up to 8-10 MTOs (Metal Turn Over), [MTO means that all nickel is plated of each litre of the plating solution, and then replenish the nickel content to the make-up level, a MTO can be deposited at least 900 dm2 ? μm].
High rate of deposition, up to 20-25μm/h.
Large bath capacity, up to 15 dm2/l with stable performance.
Strong covering power and throwing power.
High hardness, excellent corrosion resistance.
Low porosity coating, non-porosity coating even above 15μm.
Excellent abrasive resistance, superior to chromium plates.
Good weldability and can be wet by welding flux.
Excellent electromagnetic shielding performance, it can be used for electronic components and computer hard disks.

Phosphorous content: 6-9% (wt)
Electrical resistance: 60-75μΩ·cm
Density: 7.9 g/cm3
Melting range: 860-880℃
Hardness: 500-550 HV (45-48RCH); 1000HV after heat treatment.
Adhesion: 400MPa, higher than electroplating.
Internal stress: less than 7MPa for steel.
ANALYSIS AND REPLENISHMENT
The standard concentration of Ni2+ of the working bath is 6.0 g/l.
1. Pipette 5 ml of working bath into a 250 ml Erlenmeyer flask.
2. Add 50 ml of DI water and 10 ml of ammonium hydroxide.
3. Add 0.2 g of ammonium violet indicator.
4. Titration with 0.05M EDTA standard solution to light purple from light brown. Calculation based on EDTA dosage.
