RC-666 Copper Plating (Environmental Protection)

INTRODUCTION

  • Do not contain sodium cyanide, copper cyanide and phosphorus, in line with environmental protection requirements.

  • The product is compatible with cyanide copper plating solution, that is, it can ‘switch’ directly on the solution of cyanide copper.

  • Suitable for zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, NdFeB and steel substrate.

  • Simple operation, both barrel and rack plating.

PRODUCTION MAINTENANCE

--Copper ion should be controlled at 8-12 g/l during production. The content of copper ion can be determined by chemical analysis and controlled by adjusting the anode area ratio of graphite anode and electrolytic copper.

--RC-666A is only used in make-up, RC-666B is for daily production only and can be replenished by analysis.

--pH control: adjust with 10% potassium hydroxide for higher pH, and with tartaric acid for lower pH.

--Roughness coating of HCD areas and low deposition velocity when insufficient copper ion. The copper ion concentration can be improved by increasing the proportion of electrolytic copper anode area.

--Roughness coating of LCD areas when excessive copper ion, RC-666B could be replenished appropriately.

--Insufficient RC-666B causes rough LCD areas, RC-666B could be replenished appropriately.

--Excessive RC-666B causes low deposition velocity, the concentration of copper ion can be appropriately increased.

--If the heterogeneous metal or organic impurities brought by the previous process or composition causes the coating to become tarnished, it can be treated with activated carbon.


STORAGE

Stored in a cool dry place, should not be placed with a strong acidic substance; it will react to produce toxic substances at high temperature or in the presence of strong acidic substances.  


SEWAGE TREATMENT

Wastewater discharge is treated according to the conventional method of decomposition complexant. Please consult our company’s technicist for details.

Untreated wastewater must not be mixed with strong acidic substances, otherwise chemical reactions will occur to produce toxic substances.

Leakage emergency treatment: when the wastewater is leaked, it is discharged to the wastewater pool after full reaction with appropriate amount of calcium chloride or ferrous sulfate.

Notice: it is normal that the delamination, precipitation or tarnish of RC-666A and RC-666B occur during storage. Thus, the effect of the solution will not be affected, and shaking before use.
